Your First Visit

We recognize that any doctor’s appointment can come with some trepidation or stress – that’s why our team makes the process simple from the start.

Here’s what to expect at your first visit to The Orthopedic Health Center.

Patient Forms

After you’re greeted by one of our friendly staff members at the front desk, we’ll ask you to fill out some new patient paperwork. We’re happy to answer any initial questions you may have at that time.

Initial Assessment

Once you’ve completed your paperwork, our medical assistance will ask you some questions about your pain or discomfort to help us identify the issue. We’ll also go through your basic medical history and background information to give us a more holistic picture of your health, which will be important for diagnosis and treatment.

Physical Exam

From there, one of our providers will complete a physical exam, which will help in the development of a personalized, comprehensive treatment plan.

Treatment Plan

Whether you have a neck, knee, back, leg, shoulder, or hand injury, you can trust that we’ll exhaust all non-invasive treatment options first in our effort to relieve your pain. If surgery is unavoidable, you’re in the hands of an award-winning surgeon.

Our team will explain each step of your treatment plan and answer any questions you may have.
